You\u2019ll see a lot of recommendations for schedulers like Sprout Social and Tailwind, and you can play around with a free trial before committing, but know that you don\u2019t <em>need <\/em>a scheduler to publish pins at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>You can schedule pins right within the platform natively.<\/p>\n<p>To do so, click on the \u201cCreate\u201d button and select \u201cCreate pin.\u201d Then drag and drop your pin (either an image or a video) into the gray field. I see accounts grow that are only publishing three pins per week (Monday\/Wednesday\/Friday).<\/p>\n<p>I also see accounts flatline that tries to publish five times per day, can\u2019t sustain it, and walk away.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A word to the wise:<\/strong> This conversation is a <em>basic <\/em>Pinterest marketing overview and can\u2019t dive into all of the nuances of strategy and ever-evolving <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tailwindapp.com\/\" link=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener\">best practices<\/a>. The same pin with a <em>slight <\/em>filter applied to one photo might not register to Pinterest\u2019s visual reader as truly different.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t use templates without personalizing them. Pinterest templates are a wonderful starting point for design apps, but change the colors and font so that they don\u2019t look like rip-offs of other people who uploaded that pin template first.<\/li>\n<li>Never forget that you\u2019re writing for humans and must use complete sentences.
